Carol Mills, Vice President

Carol is directly involved in the firm's activities in the Killeen / Copperas Cove region. Her specific duties cover the areas of market and property research, governmental relations with local, state and federal officials, negotiations with prospective users of developed sites and identifying strategic opportunities for the firm.

Carol Mills' career has focused in the public sector until her joining the First Advisors, Inc. staff in March 2008. For approximately 15 years, she was involved in economic development programs in Central Texas with the cities of Killeen, Copperas Cove and Belton, as well as the Central Texas Economic Corridor, a regional economic development marketing association. Carol was responsible for the recruitment of retail and industrial clients into each respective community. Her background also includes working on the staff of the late Congressman Marvin Leath and acting as campaign manager for two state senatorial races.

Carol has served on numerous boards including the Texas Economic Development Council, the Central Texas Workforce Board and the Association of the United States Army board of governors. She is an associate member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Carol is a 1976 graduate of Baylor University.
